Overview

Community health program coordinators (CHPCs) manage programs or entire organizations that help underserved populations in rural, suburban, and urban areas obtain access to medical and social services. Underserved populations are those that have a below average level of access to health care and social services. They often often share health characteristics, ethnicities, and socioeconomic conditions. Community health program coordinators are also known as community health managers.
