Mortuary cosmetologists do not belong to unions. The Professional Beauty Association is a membership organization for cosmetologists. It offers continuing education and scholarships. The National Funeral Directors Association represents funeral home owners in the United States. The National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences accredits cosmetology programs.
