Major aerospace companies that develop and operate reusable spacecraft include Blue Origin, Virgin Galactic, SpaceX, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Rocket Lab, Boeing, and the United Launch Alliance. NASA and other space agencies are also developing reusable spacecraft. Designers and engineers are also employed by aerospace startups and mid-size companies, as well as by engineering and design firms that provide services to other businesses. Some designers and engineers launch their own consulting firms.
