Work Environment
Image consultants often have home-based offices, but may frequently travel to corporate sites and training facilities to conduct consultations and provide training, as well as appear at industry events and on radio and television talk shows to discuss the importance of creating a positive personal image. They may work 40 to 50 hours a week and sometimes make evening presentations. Many consultants find it extremely rewarding to take a client who is uncomfortable speaking publicly or who does not have a professional appearance, and turning them into confident, well-dressed professionals.
