Some confectionery industry workers are members of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union. The American Association of Candy Technologists, PMCA (which offers a Student Outreach Program), and National Confectioners Association are membership organizations for confectionery manufacturers. They provide continuing education, conferences, publications, and other resources to confectionery professionals. Retail Confectioners International offers membership for those who manufacture and sell confectionery products. It also publishes a blog and offers continuing education classes and events.
