Unions and Associations
School administrators do not belong to unions. Many administrators join AASA, The School Superintendents Association; National Association of Elementary School Principals; and the National Association of Secondary School Principals, which provide networking opportunities, leadership training and other continuing education resources, and publications. Associations for administrators are also available at the state and local levels. The Educational Testing Service offers tests that measure administrators’ qualifications for licensing.
