Work Environment
Policy analysts work in typical business settings that are equipped with modern office equipment and technology. Most work 9 A.M. to 5 P.M., Monday through Friday, although some may work at night and on weekends to conduct time-sensitive research, draft important reports, or speak at conferences. At large think tanks, senior policy analysts may be assisted by research assistants and administrative professionals.
