Stadium Ushers and Vendors

No experience is needed to work as an usher or vendor, but those with prior work experience will increase their chances of landing a job, getting promoted, and possibly earning higher pay.

To be a successful stadium usher or vendor, you need to be affable and friendly. Strong oral communication skills are needed in order to interact successfully with the general public. Strong math skills will help in dealing with the transfer of money. Ushers and vendors should be physically fit because they are on their feet during much of their shift. They must also be willing to work outdoors in sometimes harsh weather conditions, such as extreme cold or heat, driving rain, sleet, or snow.
