Beverage Industry Workers

Many beverage industry workers (except managers and sales workers) are union members. Those who are represented by unions often earn higher wages than other workers and receive union benefits, such as insurance, pension plans, and representation. The main unions for beverage workers are the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Transport Workers Union of America, Industrial Workers of the World, and the United Automobile, Aerospace, and Agricultural Implement Workers of America. The American Beverage Association and the International Bottled Water Association are membership organizations for beverage manufacturers. The International Society of Beverage Technologists is a membership organization for beverage-industry professionals.
