Participate in an information interview with an incident meteorologist. You can do so by interviewing them in-person or asking questions via the telephone or via an online video communication platform. Although you won’t be able to job shadow an incident meteorologist, you can set up such an experience with an office-based meteorologist. Another way to learn more about education and careers in meteorology is to attend a meteorology summer camp at a college or university.
