Unions and Associations
Landmen are not represented by unions. The American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) offers education, publications, networking events, and certification programs that many landman participate in. It offers student membership and scholarships to students who are enrolled in an AAPL-accredited program. Other associations that are useful for professional landmen include the American Petroleum Institute, the Northeast Gas Association, and the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association.
