Music Journalists

Music journalists may obtain union representation from the National Writers Union. They also can join professional associations such as the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, Jazz Journalists Association, National Association for Music Education, and the Society of Professional Journalists. The Poynter Institute provides education and useful resources for journalists and related professionals. The Editorial Freelancers Association is an organization for freelance writers, indexers, proofreaders, researchers, desktop publishers, translators, and others in the publishing and journalism industries.
