Nanotechnology professionals with associate’s degrees earn salaries that range from $35,000 to $50,000, according to the National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network. The U.S. Department of Labor reports that chemical technicians (a career category that includes nanotechnicians) earned median salaries of $48,160 in May 2018. Salaries ranged from less than $29,920 to $79,100 or more. Nanotechnicians usually receive benefits such as vacation days, sick leave, health and life insurance, and a 401(k) or other retirement savings plan.
