Pop/Rock Musicians

Professional musicians generally hold membership in the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada. Songwriters often join the Songwriters Guild of America. Other useful organizations for musicians include the American Guild of Musical Artists, Society for American Music, and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. The National Association of Schools of Music is an organization of nearly 630 accredited schools, colleges, and universities that provide music education. In addition, there are many musical associations and guilds at the state and local levels.
