Pay may be higher for those who deliver more elaborate sales presentations, work weekends, or make business-to-business calls. As telemarketers gain experience and skills, their pay increases. The median hourly wage for telemarketers was $16.54 in May 2024, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This translates to annual earnings of $34,410, and salaries ranged from less than $24,620 to more than $48,930. Fifty percent of telemarketers earned between $29,120 and $38,640.
