The U.S. Department of Labor does not provide information on earnings for dance school owners and managers, but it does report that general and operations managers earned median annual salaries of $101,280 in May 2023. The lowest 10 percent of general and operations managers earned $46,340, while the top 10 percent made $232,110 or more. An owner of a large and successful dance school can have earnings that range from $75,000 to $250,000 or more.

Dance school managers who are employed full time receive benefits such as paid holidays, vacations, and sick days; personal days; medical, dental, and life insurance; and retirement and pension plans. Part-time managers typically do not receive benefits.
