Outlook
There will continue to be a need for qualified people in the military. Military duties and employment are directly influenced by political and economic conditions, but the United States will always be require armed forces to protect and defend citizens around the world. All military branches will need to fill entry-level and professional positions, especially as military workers complete their service, advance to higher ranks, or retire. As jobs become more complex and integrated with new technologies, those with solid educational backgrounds, including college training, will have the best chances for entering the services.
