Unions and Associations
Museum directors and curators are not members of unions, but they can join the American Alliance of Museums, the largest service and advocacy organization for the museum field. It offers career information, continuing education classes, publications, and networking opportunities. The Association of Art Museum Directors is a membership organization for directors of art museums in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
