The lowest 10 percent earned less than $37,270 annually, while the top 10 percent earned more than $84,250 annually. Heating and cooling apprentices usually earn about 50 percent of the wage rate paid to experienced workers. This percentage rises as apprentices gain experience and skill training in the field.
