Marine biologists can obtain useful resources (such as continuing education opportunities, publications, mentoring programs, and information on education and careers) from the American Institute of Biological Sciences, Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography, and The Oceanography Society. PADI provides diving certification and diving-related continuing education classes.
