Ecologists

Ecologists are not represented by unions. The Ecological Society of America is the major professional association for ecologists. It provides membership, certification, continuing education, and other resources. The American Geosciences Institute is a nonprofit federation of geoscientific and professional associations. The American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists provides information on education and careers. The National Wildlife Federation and Student Conservation Association provide internships, volunteer and employment opportunities, and student resources.
