Forensic Engineers

Some engineers may be represented by the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers (http://www.ifpte.org), the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (http://www.speea.org), and other unions. ABET accredits engineering education programs. Other organizations that provide useful resources include the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists, American Academy of Forensic Sciences, Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, National Academy of Forensic Engineers (which offers a membership category for college students), National Society of Professional Engineers, and the Society of Forensic Engineers and Scientists. The Canadian Society of Forensic Science offers membership (including for college students) and publishes a journal.
