Unions and Associations
Energy conservation technicians are not represented by unions, but they can obtain useful resources and professional support from the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy, Association of Energy Conservation Professionals, and the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. The Association of Energy Engineers and North American Technician Excellence offer certification to energy conservation technicians.
