Unions and Associations
Exhibit designers are not typically members of unions. The major professional association for museum professionals is the American Alliance of Museums, which provides information on careers, networking opportunities, publications, and other resources. Exhibit designers can also join regional and local associations such as the New England Museum Association. Other useful organizations for exhibit designers include the Association of Art Museum Directors and the Society for Experiential Graphic Design.
