Cartoonists

If you are interested in becoming a cartoonist, you should submit your drawings to your school paper. You also might want to draw posters to publicize activities, such as sporting events, dances, and meetings.

Scholarship assistance for art students is available from some sources. For example, the Society of Illustrators awards scholarships annually to student artists from any field. Students do not apply directly; rather, they are selected and given application materials by their instructors.
