Brand Ambassadors

Read books and magazines about marketing, advertising, brand building, social media, and influencer marketing to build your knowledge and skills. Get involved with your school’s marketing club, radio station, YouTube channel, or newspaper to become a better communicator and develop your knowledge of marketing principles and strategies. Talk to brand ambassadors about their careers. Ask your school counselor or marketing teacher to help set up an interview. You could also find brand ambassadors on LinkedIn or via a keyword search. One of the best ways to explore the field is to pretend that you are a brand ambassador and create a marketing and promotional campaign for one of your favorite products (e.g., soft drink, sportswear, video game). How would you promote the product? What would you post on social media? What type of events could you attend or organize to spotlight the product? How would you respond to customer’s questions about the product? Brainstorm with your friends and create a presentation for your marketing club or class and ask for feedback.
