Wages for industrial radiographers depend on the employer as well as the academic background and related work experience of the employee. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, radiologic technicians, which includes medical radiographers, earned a median salary of $73,410 in May 2023, with the lowest 10 percent earning $50,020 or less and the highest 10 percent earning $102,380 or more. In 2024, ZipRecruiter reported that the average annual income for those in industrial radiography careers was $62,780. Earnings ranged from less than $23,500 to $111,500 or more.
