Localization Specialists

Work Environment

Localization specialists work in both office settings (in a team of specialists) and in home offices, where they use technology to stay in touch with colleagues, managers, and clients. Remote localization specialists may also need to occasionally travel to the offices of their employer and client for meetings. Specialists work a standard 40-hour, Monday through Friday schedule at some companies, but they may need to be available outside regular work hours to talk with international clients via the telephone or online communication technology.
