Proposal Managers

Work Environment

Proposal managers are employed by corporations, professional organizations, government entities, not-for-profit groups, and other associations. They typically work in office settings. Most positions are full time. Individuals often sit for hours at a time in front of  computers. While their work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, work days can be long when completing projects and meeting deadlines. When participating in pitch meetings, they may be called on to travel. The pressure to finish proposals, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines can be stressful.
