Unions and Associations
Wedding and party consultants do not belong to unions. Membership organizations for wedding and party consultants include the American Association of Certified Wedding Planners, Association for Wedding Professionals International (AWPI), Association of Bridal Consultants, Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants, and Weddings Beautiful Worldwide. These organizations provide continuing education opportunities, networking events, certification (except the AWPI), and career information.
