Construction Inspectors

History

Construction is one of the major industries of the modern world. Public construction includes structures such as public housing projects, schools, hospitals, administrative and service buildings, industrial and military facilities, highways, and sewer and water systems.

To ensure the public safety of these structures and systems, various governing bodies establish building codes that contractors must follow. It is the job of the construction inspector to ensure that the codes are properly followed.
