Unions and Associations
Writers and editors may obtain union representation from the National Writers Union. They also may join professional associations such as the ACES: The Society for Editing; Editorial Freelancers Association; International Association of Culinary Professionals; International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association; and the Online News Association. The Dow Jones News Fund is another useful organization for writers and editors.
