Certification or Licensing
The Society for Range Management offers the certified range management consultant, certified professional in rangeland management, and other designations. Requirements for certification include having a bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience in the field as well as passing a written exam. Visit https://rangelands.org for more information. There is no licensing required for land trust or preserve managers.
