Life Coaches

Unions and Associations

Life coaches become members of professional associations for access to research and publications, education and training, and conferences and events. Membership to these groups also provides them with guidance on industry standards and helps them to keep up with innovations in the life coaching field. They may belong to such groups as the International Association of Professional Life Coaches, which offers downloadable training programs and other resources for its members, and the International Coaching Federation, which accredits training programs in coaching. The International Association of Coaching also provides education, certification, chapter meetings, and webinars.
