Artificial intelligence (AI) auditors test and evaluate AI to ensure that it is used ethically, securely, transparently, and effectively, as well as meets compliance requirements. Their work continues to grow in importance as AI is increasingly being used as a tool to conduct research and publish information, make stock and other financial trades, make medical diagnoses, and evaluate and approve loan applications, among many other uses. AI auditors may also be known as algorithmic auditors.
