Life Coaches

Work Environment

Life coaches work in their own offices and in the offices of companies that employ them. They may consult with clients in their own office, either in person or in video conferences. They may also travel to meet with clients in their place of business or in their homes. Life coaches may work during business hours, and they may also work evenings and weekends, as many clients may have full-time jobs and are only able to schedule consultations for post-work hours. The job of running one's own business can be stressful, with many different responsibilities involved, such as managing promotions, scheduling, invoicing, tax filings, etc. Also, some clients may have difficult personalities and be challenging to work with. Life coaches are able to stay focused, professional, and tactful in handling different people and their needs.
