Most RFID specialists have three or more years of work experience, which includes on-the-job training. The job requires strong knowledge of engineering, electronics, technology, and computers. An understanding of design and production tools and techniques is also essential. RFID specialists are detail-oriented and analytical thinkers, which is required to complete the work tasks and keep projects on schedule. They are cooperative and collaborative, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities. They are capable of working independently as well as with teams. There are variables in the workplace and the work itself may change on a daily basis. RFID specialists must be adaptable and flexible in order to effectively handle these changes while staying focused on the work.
