Remote Work Coordinators

Work Environment

Remote work coordinators often also work remotely, so they will not have a commute and may be able to arrange a more flexible work schedule. On the other hand, they manage team members in several time zones (including overseas), which will necessitate that they are available during off hours to provide feedback and/or to respond to staff issues with technology. Some coordinators love working from home or another remote location, but others feel isolated and disconnected from their in-office colleagues. In addition to staying in regular contact with their staffs, many coordinators try to work in “office time” to stay connected with in-house colleagues (especially their managers) and seek out social connections with other remote workers.
