Unity Developers

Unions and Associations

Unity developers do not belong to unions, but several associations provide useful resources. The Association for Computing Machinery publishes XRDS (a magazine for students), hosts more than 170 conferences and other events worldwide; has a Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics; and provides information on education and careers at its Web site. The International Game Developers Association offers information on becoming a game developer and has Special Interest Groups in Game Design, Game Writing, Audio, Game Art, Quality Assurance, and Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Realities. Other noteworthy organizations include the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, Entertainment Software Association, IEEE Computer Society, and Women in Games.
