Energy Efficiency Engineers

The U.S. Department of Labor predicts that employment in engineering and architecture professions will increase about as fast as the average for all careers through 2028. Energy efficiency engineers will have good employment opportunities due to the growing interest in efficient and cost-saving energy systems. The increasing demand for these specialized engineers will stem from growth in the construction industry. More commercial and residential building and renovations are projected for the coming years, and demand will increase for energy efficiency engineers to advise on the most productive and efficient energy systems.
