Drone Manufacturing Workers

Work Environment

Drone manufacturing professionals who work with machinery and equipment and in assembly lines work in manufacturing plants. Production managers, buyers and purchasing agents, customer service representatives, and other administrative staff members work in offices of manufacturing plants. All work 40 hours per week. Manufacturing plants that operate around the clock may have production employees work in 8-hour shifts, which may be scheduled during evenings, early mornings, and weekends. Some production jobs may be hazardous, especially when dealing with certain types of machinery, equipment, and materials. Workers wear protective gear and follow safety procedures to prevent injuries. Tasks may be repetitive and tedious, and workers must stay alert and pay attention to details. Some jobs may be stressful when facing deadline pressures. Overtime hours may be expected to meet project deadlines.
