Deciding to become an edupreneur can be a rewarding choice, but those who aspire to enter this career should know that they will need to work long hours (often in addition to their 9-to-5 jobs) and face a steady stream of rejection before they can break through and get customers interested in their product or service. Some edupreneurs work more than 80 hours a week in the early days of developing and launching their product or service. As a result, this career can be tiring, stressful, lonely, and mentally taxing. On the other hand, many edupreneurs love being their own bosses, creating their own work schedules, and receiving the opportunity to bring their ideas to market and help people—and make a good living in the process.
