Human Resources Consultants

Outlook

Job growth for human resources consultants is expected to be good in the coming years. More HR consultants will be needed to help provide advice regarding staffing and the management of benefits, compensation, and other HR-related issues. In-demand specialties include compensation consulting services, workforce planning, and managing pension risk and health care costs. Employment for management consultants is expected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations through 2028, according to the Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH). The OOH says that "job opportunities are expected to be best for those who have a graduate degree or a certification, specialized expertise, fluency in a foreign language, or a talent for sales and public relations."
