Solutions Architects

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) does not provide an employment outlook for solutions architects, but as managers, they can be categorized under the DOL’s more general heading of “computer and information systems managers.” Employment for workers in this category is expected to grow by 11 percent through 2028, or much faster than the average for all careers. The DOL reports that demand for these managers will grow as companies expand their operations to digital platforms. There will also be growth in this field due to companies' increasing cybersecurity in their business operations. Opportunities should be best for solutions architects who have extensive work experience and knowledge of the newest technology.
