Genetic Engineers

As a high school student, you can prepare for a career as a genetic engineer by taking as many courses in math and science as you can. You should also develop your writing and computer skills. Take advantage of these and other opportunities offered in your community through community colleges, museums, professional associations, and special interest groups.
