Salaries for billing clerks depend on the size and geographic location of the company and the employee's skills. Earnings also vary by responsibilities; for example, billing clerks working in the management offices of companies and enterprises earned a mean hourly income of $19.58 per hour in May 2018. This translates into a yearly salary of approximately $40,730 for full-time work. Billing clerks with high levels of expertise and management responsibilities may earn higher pay.
