Job and Die Setters

Some job and die setters are members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers; International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace, and Agricultural Implement Workers of America; and the International Union of Electronic, Electrical, Salaried, Machine, and Communications Workers of America. These unions represent employees, offer training, and negotiate pay, benefits, work hours, and other job-related items. The National Institute for Metalworking Skills and Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, International offer certification and other resources. Other useful organizations include the National Institute for Metalworking Skills, National Tooling and Machining Association, Precision Machined Products Association, Precision Metalforming Association Educational Foundation, and the Technology and Manufacturing Association.
