The department also reports that the lowest paid 10 percent of all computer and office machine service technicians earned less than $11.92 per hour ($24,800 annually). At the other end of the pay scale, 10 percent earned more than $29.58 per hour (approximately $61,520 annually). Technicians who worked for colleges, universities, and professional schools earned mean annual salaries of $52,260. Those who are certified are typically paid more than those without.
