Work Environment
Most podcasters set up recording studios in their homes, which allows for greater flexibility in their working hours. Since podcast episodes are created and saved individually, podcasters can record several episodes in one day and release them as needed. Other podcasters, especially those who comment on current news and culture, record episodes on a daily basis.
Social media—Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook—are important promotional tools for podcasters. Podcasters spend time setting up such accounts and tweeting and adding status changes to advertise an upcoming episode.
