Physicians who were still in their residencies earned between $63,800 and $92,664 in the 2022–2023 academic year, according to a survey by the Association of American Medical Colleges. The median annual salary for all physicians and surgeons was at least $239,200 annually in May 2023, according to the Department of Labor. A number of factors, such as geographical location, experience, and reputation of good work, can determine an allergist/immunologist's salary. Physicians specializing in allergy and immunology earned an average of $281,919 in June of 2024, according to Salary.com, with most salaries ranging from $227,922 to $375,167.
